I just finished reading this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved his descriptive writing. In fact the first night I had nightmares of wasps stinging me after reading a portion of the book where his "penthouse" was taken over by them.There are so many emotions. I worked for him when he had that terrible accident. Miraculous how he came out of it.
I had to hold my breath at the end of the book during his conversation with Bob.
I'm glad he is such a good Christian and truly blessed to have such a loving wife.
Every hunter would enjoy this book. He shares so much info.

Mark does an excellent job of painting word pictures. Even though some of the stories may seem redundant, each has it's subtle differences.
I was inspired to pay more attention to the details of my own life and always be thankful for God's blessings shown through nature and family.
There are the kind of real-life stories that read as fiction since they are so interesting, yet all are true. Each page is filled with history, lore, and hunting tips. I couldn't stop reading until the end. It's not often I can say that I learned from a book and enjoyed it at the same time. I will read this more than once.
